Our Annual Gala Awards recognise the outstanding people whose dedication, leadership and contribution help make our club a welcoming, successful and supportive community.
These awards celebrate coaches, team managers, volunteers and club members who have gone above and beyond, strengthened our culture and positively impacted our players, families and teams.
Major Club Awards
Eagle of the Year - Best Club Person
Recognises an individual who has made an exceptional contribution during the season and embodies the values and culture of the Eagles.
Eagle Legecy Award - Long Service
Recognises long-term dedication, commitment and service that has left a lasting impact on the club.
Club Impact Award - Season Impact
Recognises an individual who has made a significant and positive impact during the current season.
Volunteer Recognition Awards
Community Spirit Award - Culture and Inclusion
Recognises a volunteer who helps create a welcoming, supportive and inclusive club environment.
Rising Star Volunteer Award - Emerging Volunteer
Recognises a newer volunteer who has made an immediate and positive contribution to the club.
Coaching Awards
Youth Girls Coach of the Year
Recognises outstanding leadership, player development and support within girls football.
Youth Boys Coach of the Year
Recognises a coach who has positively impacted player development, team culture and sportsmanship.
Non-Comptitive Coach of the Year
Recognises a coach who promotes participation, enjoyment and skill development in non-competitive football.
Team Manager Awards
Youth Team Manager of the Year
Recognises a team manager who has provided outstanding organisation, communication and support throughout the season.
Non-competitive Team Manager of the Year
Recognises a team manager who has helped create a positive and enjoyable experience for players and families.
Nomination Instructions
Please read the following instructions before completing your nomination:
Submit a separate form for each nominee and each award.
You may nominate more than one person.
Select the award that best reflects the nominee’s contribution.
Address the criteria of the selected award.
Include specific examples wherever possible.
Explain the positive difference the nominee has made.
Focus on the current season unless the award recognises long-term service.
Ensure the nominee’s name, role and team or age group are correct.
The Awards Committee may contact you for further information.
All nominations will be reviewed against the relevant award criteria.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee an award.
Please provide a thoughtful nomination to help the Awards Committee fairly assess each nominee.
